I'm interested in a few things. First do you have any clothes and any pictures of them? Also have you any pictures of your halters and lead ropes? Thanks!

We have lots of clothing and tack. We cannot take pictures of all the items because it changes too quickly and there would be way too many pictures to put on a web site. Please remember we are a consignment store and although we do have new items (as well as previously owned), we usually get them in limited quantities and they sell quickly. Since you are in Toronto, why not come by the store and check it out.

Sorry to bug you again, but roughly how much would it cost to have a saddle pad embroidered with the name "Pirate". I also am wondering how much this would cost to be engraved on a halter plate. I would like to know to time it would take to have these done. Thank You, Aleksia. M

We'll email you directly about the costs of the embroidery and the halter plate. The plate will take about a week or so to do. The embroidery would be longer. |

I was wondering if you carry any twinkle toes products (and if so what type and cost). I was also wondering about how much a cob sized leather halter (good conditon) would go for in your store. Thanks

No, we do not carry twinkle toes products although we sometimes get some in for consignment. Please contact the store directly to check the current stock on both the twinkle toes and the halter. |

Hello, I have a quick question about saddles. I ride a very round pony, and my saddle always slips to the sides when I'm cantering him. I've fallen off because of this, and I was just wondering if you had any recommendations for a fix to this problem, and would I be able to purchase something from the Repeat Rider that might help? Thanks for your time, I'm looking forward to hearing back from you.

First (and cheapest) thing you could try is using a string girth on your saddle. The wider the better. We do have some string girths in stock. Give the Avenue Road store a call to make sure we have the correct size for you. Also, do not use thick pads. If that doesnīt work, then it would be a good idea to have someone come and check your saddle on your horse to make sure it is the proper fit. Then, if everything is okay with your saddle an option is to have point and balance girth straps added to your saddle. This would have to be done by a saddle maker - and the final option if nothing else works and you are in love with your current saddle.
